Ayomide Bakare Iyanuoluwa, popularly known as Ayox, was born on January 4, 2003, in Akure, Ondo State, Nigeria. He grew up in a humble family background with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Iyanuoluwa. However, tragedy struck in 2016 when his father passed away, leaving his mother to single-handedly care for him and his siblings. Despite the challenges, Ayox’s mother remained supportive of his education and dreams.

He completed his primary education at Aquinas College in Ondo State and later attended Adekunle Ajasin University in Akungba-Akoko (AAUA) for his higher education. These formative years played a crucial role in shaping Ayox’s journey into music.

Career Journey

Ayox’s passion for music was so obvious that even during his college years, despite the school stress and busy activities he actively participated in music-related events and programs. At just 14 years old, he released his first official single, Street Anthem, in collaboration with Baclad Entertainment.

Undeterred by challenges, Ayox continued to pursue his dream, striving to share his music with the world. He gained widespread attention in 2023 after performing a cover of Libianca’s viral hit People, which further solidified his place in the music industry.

Following the tragic death of Nigerian singer-songwriter Mohbad, Ayox released Walking Dead, a tribute to the late artist. This heartfelt song garnered him more fans and recognition.
