Early Life and Education

 

 

Hailing from Nsukka, Enugu State, Nigeria, Lota spent her formative years in Benin City. As the youngest of four siblings, she pursued her academic journey at the University of Benin, where she studied Agricultural Economics and Extension Service. Her artistic journey commenced at the Royal Arts Academy in Lagos, Nigeria.

Lota's journey into the limelight began as a model, representing Yobe State in the 2011 edition of The Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria pageant. Transitioning into acting in 2011, she gained widespread recognition through her role in Jenifa's Diary. Her filmography includes notable works such as The Royal Hibiscus Hotel, Falling, Fine Girl, and The Arbitration. Beyond acting, she made appearances in music videos and established her cooking and lifestyle show, "Lota Takes," featuring prominent Nigerian celebrities.
