As the burial of billionaire Zenco's mother begins, Anambra People Magazine has gathered that real estate mogul Cletus Oragwa is sparing no expense in giving his late mother, Mrs. Margaret Oragwa, a grand farewell. He is reportedly spending no less than a billion naira on tents, hearses, caskets, and other related services.
A reliable source confirmed to our correspondent that the tent, imported from Israel, costs over ₦560 million. Although some social media platforms and influencers have estimated the price at ₦350 million, the source assured that the actual cost is significantly higher. The installation of the tent began on December 15, 2024, and was still ongoing as of January 8.
The source also revealed that services provided by Nigeria's leading funeral brand, Apams, are set to exceed ₦500 million. This includes a unique silver casket, a newly imported white Rolls Royce carriage specifically for the burial, a collection of luxury hearses, and other ancillary services.
The overall cost of the burial is estimated to be around ₦5 billion or more. Zenco, one of the most successful young businessmen from Anambra State, has interests in real estate, telecommunications, mining, and trading.
A-list celebrities such as Davido, Flavour, and Mr. Macaroni are expected to attend the event. The one-week burial in Ukpor, Nnewi South LGA of Anambra State, is anticipated to be a complete shutdown.
Meanwhile, Cubana Chief Priest has presented 47 cows to Zenco in support of his mother's burial, surpassing the 46 cows he gave to Obi Cubana during his mother's burial in
Oba.
