Gladstorm Kwabena Akwaboah Jnr, known professionally as Akwaboah Jnr, is a talented Ghanaian singer-songwriter and producer. He has written hit songs like "Daa Ke Daa" for Becca and "Ayeyi Ndwom" for DSP Kofi Sarpong, both of which won awards at the 2010 Ghana Music Awards. Akwaboah was also awarded "Song Writer of the Year" for "Daa Ke Daa".

Aside from writing, Akwaboah is a skilled keyboardist and has played for various local and international artists, including Hugh Masekela and John Legend. He has also contributed to the success of many musicians in the industry.

 

In March 2016, Akwaboah signed with Sarkcess Music, a record label owned by BET Award winner Sarkodie. He produced and co-wrote Sarkodie's fourth album, Mary. Akwaboah also hosts the Shades of Love concert every year on February 14.

 

Akwaboah has been nominated for several awards, including "Best Male Vocal Performance" and "Best Collaboration of the Year" for his feature on Sarkodie's "Mewu". He was also nominated for "New Artist of the Year" in 2014 and "Songwriter of the Year" in 2013.
