Akrobeto was born in Ayirebi, located in the Ofoase Ayirebi constituency in Ghana's Eastern region. He was the youngest of 11 children, though sadly, only he survives today. He began his education at Akyem Ayerebi L/A Primary and Middle School, completing his studies in 1979. Despite not passing his middle school education examination, Akrobeto's passion for comedy and acting was evident from a young age, making him a beloved figure in his community.

At 18, Akrobeto moved to Accra with Apostle Kwadwo Sarfo after the Kristo Asafo Band performed in his hometown. He stayed with the band and participated in various productions, including the popular "Who is Who" competition in the early 2000s. In 2008, Akrobeto's career advanced significantly when he began acting in Kumawood movies, cementing his status in the Ghanaian entertainment scene.

 

In 2018, Akrobeto started hosting "The Real News" on UTV, a show that highlighted his unique comedic style and gained him widespread recognition. His career soared to new heights in November 2020 when videos of him humorously reading European football results went viral on YouTube. His amusing mispronunciations, especially of Chelsea captain César Azpilicueta's name, drew international attention and further increased his popularity.
