After completing primary and secondary education, Apama gained admission into Imo State University (IMSU), where he obtained a bachelor's degree in Chemistry.
Apama began hosting comedy shows while in university and was a regular invite to various university activities such as fresher's night, award night, church celebration, department meetings, academic get-togethers, among others. He was one of the comedians students wanted to see at the popular Love Garden during the usual Wednesday Awareness show.
