Ayorinde Kehinde Okiki, better known as DJ Kaywise, was born on August 4, 1992, in Lagos State. Although he was born in Lagos, he is a native of Ile Ife in Osun State.

DJ Kaywise began his career as a record producer before he later switched to becoming a DJ. He began his career as a DJ in 2010, and he made headlines after his “Emergency” mixtape, which was a compilation of popular tracks at the time, became a commercial success at the famous Alaba market in Lagos.
He made his foray into music singing in 2012 when he released the song Hangover, featuring Yung6ix and Dammy Krane. He continued to collaborate with prominent artists, featuring the likes of Iyanya, Olamide, Vector, Ice Prince, Mayorkun, Naira Marley, Tiwa Savage, Phyno and many more in many of the songs he has released.
One of his biggest hits as a DJ was the song “Caro” featuring Tekno and Falz, which he released in 2015. The song was an instant hit in Nigeria, and it helped solidify DJ Kaywise’s place as one of the top DJs in the country.
Aside from being a DJ and producer, DJ Kaywise has also ventured into owning his own record label, Kaywise Entertainment. The label signed its first artist, B-Red, in 2018.
DJ Kaywise has won several awards and nominations for his work as a DJ and producer. In 2016, he won the City People Music Award for DJ of the Year (Male), and he was nominated for the Nigerian Entertainment Award for DJ of the Year in both 2018 and 2019.
He has also been recognized by other organizations, such as The Headies Awards, where he was nominated for Best DJ in 2018 and 2020.
