Dunsin Oyekan, widely recognized as "The Eagle," is a gospel singer, accomplished multi-instrumentalist, and prolific songwriter. Born on November 5, 1984, in Ilorin, Nigeria, he is the son of Pastor Gbadebo Oyekan, the General Overseer of the Evangelical Baptist Church.

Dunsin Oyekan started his schooling at Airforce Nursery and Primary School in Ilorin. He later attended Federal Government College (FGC) and Baptist Model High School, both located in Ilorin, for his secondary education. Continuing his education, he earned a degree in Industrial Chemistry from the University of Ilorin.
Dunsin's musical journey started early when he picked up the guitar at the age of ten. Engaging as a choir member in his church, he passionately led processions and received invitations to perform at concerts and Christian gatherings. Notably, he served as the Music Director (MD) at the Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) in Ilorin.
His extensive musical catalog boasts over 50 powerful and inspiring songs, showcased in albums such as "Code Red" (2016) and "Kingdom Now" (2019). Dunsin has collaborated with renowned artists and shared the stage with gospel greats like Tasha Cobbs, Kurt Carr, and Sinach.
Dunsin Oyekan was married to Adedoyin, and together they had two children before her unfortunate demise in 2019.

Recognized for his significant contributions, Dunsin Oyekan was honored as one of the Most Influential People in Christian Ministry in Nigeria by Ynaija in 2020. Additionally, his song "Imole De" received a nomination for Song of Excellence at the 2019 Africa Gospel Music and Media Awards (AGMMA).
In a fortunate turn of events, Dunsin Oyekan and his crew narrowly escaped a serious car accident involving a Toyota Prado SUV and a trailer on the Lagos/Ibadan expressway.
