Edrisah Kenzo Musuuza, born on December 25, 1989, and widely known as Eddy Kenzo, is a renowned Ugandan singer and music executive. He is the CEO and founder of the Uganda National Musicians Federation and a member of Big Talent Entertainment. Originating from Seguku, Kampala, Uganda, Kenzo gained prominence with his hit single "Stamina" and earned the MTV MAMA Award for Best East African Act in 2015.

Eddy Kenzo, born Edrisah Musuuza on December 15, 1989, in Masaka, Uganda, grew up in a modest family with dreams of stardom. As a teenager, he began performing at local events in his hometown. Since 2009, Kenzo has been influential in the music scene, known for his upbeat songs that merge traditional African rhythms with contemporary sounds. His notable tracks include ‘Sitya Loss’, ‘Maria Rosa’, ‘Buggala Ku Bugembe’, ‘Yanimba’, and ‘Celebrate’.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Rise to Fame

 

 

 

Kenzo’s debut album, "The New Generation," was released in 2009 and earned him local recognition. However, it was his 2014 single "Sitya Loss" that propelled him to national fame.
