Born in Lagos, Nigeria, Iyabo Ojo, the youngest of three children, hails from Abeokuta, Ogun State. She attended National College, Gbagbada, Lagos, before pursuing Estate Management at Lagos State Polytechnic.
Iyabo Ojo's journey into acting began in 1998 when she joined a drama group in secondary school. She officially entered the film scene with her debut role in the English-language film "Satanic." In 2002, she made her Yoruba-language debut with "Baba Darijinwon." Known for her versatility, she has scripted, featured, and produced numerous Nigerian films.
Marrying a Lagos-based Clearing Agent in 1999, Iyabo took a break to start a family. She has two children, Felix Ojo and Priscilla Ajoke Ojo, born in 1999 and 2001, respectively. Despite her early divorce, she remains dedicated to her children.
