Josh2funny began his comedy journey during his time in secondary school. It was there that he got involved in comedy skits and became a member of the debating club. He gained popularity on Instagram for his hilarious comedy skits, particularly his #DontLeaveMe challenge. He has been mentored by veteran comedian Koffi for five years and has shared the stage with other popular comedians.

In a notable career highlight, Josh2funny became the first Nigerian skit maker to appear on the American reality show America's Got Talent (AGT). His innovative performance included presenting himself as a 'speed reader', 'Fastest Reader in the World', 'Fastest Rapper in the World', and a 'magician', which left the judges and audience laughing.
