Kwaw Kese hails from Agona Swedru in the Central Region of Ghana. After attending Happy Home Junior Secondary School and Winneba Secondary School, he discovered his passion for music at the age of 14, writing and performing his own songs. Post high school, he briefly worked as a meter reader for the Electricity Company of Ghana before fully committing to his musical aspirations.
In 2004, Kwaw Kese's musical journey took a significant turn when he crossed paths with Hammer of The Last Two and signed with the record label. Notably, he founded Mad-Time Entertainment in 2005, launching his solo career with the debut album 'Na Ya Tal.' The breakthrough came with his second album, "Abodam 07." In 2012, he clinched the Hiphop Song Of The Year at the Ghana Music Awards for "Popping" featuring Opanka.
Kwaw Kese's personal life flourished when he tied the knot with Doris Kyei Baffour in a private ceremony in East Legon, Accra, in April 2016. The couple is blessed with a lovely family, including two children.
In a heart-wrenching turn of events, Kwaw Kese and his wife faced the tragic loss of their second child due to complications with the heart.
