Lyta, also known as Lawal Raheem, is a Nigerian singer and songwriter born on July 4, 1998, in Ajegunle, Lagos. Hailing from Kwara State, Nigeria, Lyta gained significant recognition through a call from Olamide, the YBNL boss.

Lyta, originally from Kwara State, grew up in Ajegunle. His musical journey started early when he became part of Ile Kewu, a music group linked to his local mosque.
Lyta rose to fame in 2018 when he signed with YBNL Nation. His breakthrough single, "Time," featuring Olamide, dropped in February 2018. However, due to contractual and personal issues, he left YBNL Nation in 2019. He then joined Doro Musik Gang, delivering the hit track "Monalisa."
In 2020, Lyta shifted to Marlian Records, founded by Naira Marley, where he continued to impress with the release of "Hold me Down (Omo Gidi)."
Lyta is a father to one child. He has a girlfriend and baby mama named Coco Brown. Currently, he is signed to Naira Marley's Marlian Music Record Label
