Maraji completed her primary and secondary education before pursuing higher studies at Covenant University in Ogun State, where she earned a degree in International Relations. She also successfully completed the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).
Maraji's journey into content creation wasn't easy. She began by creating lip-sync videos of popular songs. While in university, she made a lip-sync video to a Nicki Minaj song. Initially hesitant to share it online, Maraji’s friend posted the video without her consent, which unexpectedly went viral, marking her debut on social media.
Encouraged by the success of that video, Maraji created a lip-sync video for Reekado Banks' song Sugar Baby, which the artist shared on Instagram. She followed up with lip-sync videos for songs by Korede Bello and Skales, who also reposted her content. This exposure helped Maraji build a large online following.
Driven to keep her growing audience entertained, she transitioned into creating comedy skits, which have consistently thrilled her fans. Today, she boasts over a million Instagram followers, keeping them engaged with comedic skits and Afro-dance videos.
Maraji is celebrated for portraying relatable aspects of everyday Nigerian life in her comedy. Her entertaining and authentic videos resonate deeply with her audience. She handles video shooting and editing herself, except for large-scale brand projects.
Like other notable comediennes, such as Taaooma, Maraji often plays multiple characters in a single skit, seamlessly switching between different roles and voices. She has also appeared in Falz's Something Light and Yemi Alade's Single and Searching.
Maraji has received several notable awards, including:
The Future Awards Africa Prize for Comedy (2017 & 2018)
Comedy Act of the Year – City People Music Award (2018)
Nigerian Teen Choice Award for Choice Instagrammer
Nigerian Entertainment Award for Best Comedy Act (Online)
