Michelle Dede is a Nigerian freelance television presenter and actress. She co-produced the film Flower Girl and gained recognition for her roles in Desperate Housewives Africa and the 2017 drama thriller What Lies Within.

Michelle Dede was born on March 23 in Germany to Brownson Dede, a Nigerian diplomat and former ambassador to Ethiopia. She spent her early years in Brazil, where she received her primary education. She then attended secondary school in Australia and completed her high school education in Ethiopia. Michelle later moved to the United Kingdom, where she studied Fashion Design and Marketing at the American College in London. She also earned a postgraduate degree in Communications and Public Relations from the same institution.
Michelle Dede's career began unexpectedly during a holiday in Nigeria. In 2006, she co-hosted the debut edition of Big Brother Nigeria alongside Olisa Adibua, marking her entry into the entertainment industry. She later co-produced the 2013 film Flower Girl before gaining recognition for her role as Tari Gambadia in Desperate Housewives Africa. She credits Oprah Winfrey as a major inspiration for her work as a TV host.
In 2017, Michelle starred in the Nigerian drama thriller What Lies Within, alongside Paul Utomi, Kiki Omeili, and Tope Tedela. The following year, she featured in Moms at War, further establishing her presence in Nollywood.
