Okawa Shaznay, born on May 5, 1986, is a well-known actress and model from Cameroon. She made a name for herself in the Nigerian film industry, also known as Nollywood, with her role in the popular film "Iyore." She gained further fame with her performance in the 2016 TV series "Delilah: The Mysterious Case of Delilah Ambrose," which won her the 2016 TV Actress of the Year award.

Early Life And Education

Shaznay was born and raised in Cameroon, where she developed an interest in acting from a young age. She completed her schooling at the Presbyterian Secondary School in Mankon, Cameroon. Later, she moved to the United States to pursue higher education and graduated with a degree in accounting from Texas Southern University in 2009.

Acting Career

Shaznay's first film was "Master DJ," a Cameroonian production in 2004. After moving to the United States, she joined the All Africa Theater Company and acted in an adaptation of the novel "Things Fall Apart." She also starred in over ten African films while in the US. Her first significant role was in the film "Cheaters" in 2014, followed by her breakout role in the Nigerian film "Iyore" in 2015.
