Sasha P, the youngest of eight children, was raised by her single mother, fondly called Sisi Fadekemi, after her father's passing. Her musical journey began in childhood in Ibadan. She attended the International School Ibadan and later pursued a bachelor's degree in Law at the University of Lagos.

 

 

 

Musical Career

 

 

 

Sasha P emerged in the Nigerian music scene at a time when few women ventured into Hip Hop. Her groundbreaking success paved the way for other female artists. Signed to eLDee's Trybe records, she gained prominence, releasing her debut album, "First Lady," under her record label STORM. Notably, Sasha P was the first Nigerian female artist to perform at the 20th anniversary of the World Music Awards and the first to win the Best Female Award at MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMA).

 

She achieved recognition for her singles like "Adara" and "Only One," winning awards such as the Best Female Artiste at the Women in Entertainment Video Awards and Best Female Video at the Channel O Music Video Awards.
