Minister Adeyinka Olanrewaju Okeleye, widely known as Yinka Okeleye, is a renowned Nigerian gospel music minister, recording artist, gospel drama minister, and actor. Born on August 12, 1991, he hails from Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria, and is the second of four children in his family, which includes three boys and one girl.

Early Life and Education

 

 

 

Minister Yinka Okeleye, born Adeyinka Olanrewaju Okeleye, grew up with a strong sense of purpose despite facing various challenges. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Anthropology from Bowen University, Iwo, Osun State, and a Master’s degree in Criminology (MSc).

 

His journey into ministry began during his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) days in Ebonyi State, where he served with the Nigerian Christian Corpers Fellowship (NCCF) in Abakaliki. It was during this time that his passion for ministry and music blossomed, using songs as a tool to spread God's love and draw people closer to Him.

 

Yinka's mission in music is not just to release songs but to deliver messages that draw people closer to God, edify the spirit, and reveal God’s nature.

 

He served as the Music Director of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Faith Chapel, Gwarinpa Estate, Abuja, and is also an active member of the RCCG Regional and National Youth Choir.

Minister Yinka Okeleye is married to his beautiful wife, Sunmisola Agbebi, a fellow gospel minister and actress. Yinka proposed to Sunmisola on March 5, 2023, during an intimate ceremony.
